Membership

Membership is R100 per household per month. This fee has never changed since BIF was founded in 2019, and funds infrastructure and equipment only — there are no salaries. Everyone involved is a volunteer, from patrollers and first responders to those clearing storm damage and staffing the 24/7 standby team. BIF currently has around 370 paying member households.
